obd2a to obd2b distributor wiring on a SOHC VTEC
Like the title says... I have a 96 civic EX coupe... swapped in a whole 00 D16Y8, the distributor is of the 00 year too. Difference is, the distributor comes with 8 wires total and the harness on my 96 chasis comes with 9 wires.
Another question, I just took my LS swap out to swap into my crx. Would the distributor off that work on my y8? It was running it in my car before I took it out. Thanks!!

i have an OBD2B D16Y8 distributor and trying to put it in a '93 Civic Dx with an OBD1 engine harness. i have the distributor wired and working aside from the tach working. where do i get the RPM signal from when there is no BLU wire coming from the distributor?
thanks.
