Offset for a 6th Gen.
Will 17x7.5 w/ +48 offset, 225-45-17 tires rub on a 6th Gen. I have heard of people rubbing the wheel wells w/ +40 offset, and +45 offset seems to work for people. Is the +48 going to rub the inner fender? Thanks.
BTW - is the search function not working, it keeps going back with nothing.
EDIT - Yes this is a 2000 ACCORD V6, not a Prelude.

Dude I think 225-45-17 is to big. you should just get 215-45-17 then your for sure wont rub I think. But if your still not sure go check out the 6th Gen v6 Forum. http://www.v6accord.com

Tire Heights:
Stock 205-60-16 ----- 25.69"
215/45/17 ------------ 24.62" Too small if you ask me
225/45/17 ------------ 24.97" Little bit smaller
225/50/17 ------------ 25.86" Slightly larger, but OK
He is going with the 225/45/17 because that tire size is more readily avialable (cheaper) and he is dropped, so he wants to be on the safe side.
