Default SAFC and VAFC experts . please help!!!!

I have a 3gen lude.. so what i am praying that someone with a 3gen would help.. but all suggestions are needed. I installed my SAFC last weekend. I got all the wire numbers from Tom Coleman. My friend helped me hook it all up. Everything was running fine UNTIL today. I dont know if i'm tripping or not. BUT ever since I changed the pressure settings as per twisted imports on our email conversation for the pressure sensor to 6in and 6out my car didnt run.. it just stalled. So I changed it back to what Tom said in our phone conversation (1in and 1out) ok.. my car is running normal again. I was driving down the road today, and all the sudden I heard this really REALLY REALLY loud POP sound, at first I thought it was this piece of **** truck beside me backfiring , my right ear actually hurt after it happened (i had my sunroof open and my drivers side window open) I looked at my gauges and everything was running normal. Tonite just after I dropped my girlfriend off at home I decided to play around with the monitors on the SAFC. I noticed that my AIR FLAP USAGE % was at 0% all the time.. when I rev nothing happens.. while im driving the monitor doesnt change at all. So I thought to myself WTF is going on... I think it doesnt change unless I change the air/fuel ratios.

KEEP IN MIND I HAVENT CHANGED ANYTHING. meaning the hi, low throttle, and air ratios. I left it stock.. i didnt want to *** with it since I havent dynoed it to tune it with a professional!

I parked in the garage and left the car running. I went throught the setting under the "etc.." menu, and double checked the sensor settings

EVERYTHING IS AT 1in and 1out (as per Tom) when I went under sensor check, my car started to have a rough idle, then it died. I started it, again rough idle, then all of the sudden the check engine light came on. I turned off the car, and turned the ignition key to on, and went through the menus again to double check.. nothing was changed since sunday. So i started the car again, and the car was running fine.

What do you guys think is wrong with my car? Do you guys think the POP sound was my car or the truck? and through this long *** story, did I go wrong with any settings. I read through the manuals and updated pdf's from apexi, they have nothing for a B20A5 engine. It seems like every honda has a "PR-6" as a sensor type.. what does that mean?

If any of you guys have a 3gen lude with a SAFC installed, can you tell me what you guys set everything at (only sensors)

you gotta keep in mind that APEX VAFC, just like the FIELD SFC-VTEC, is not compatible with every car. i would contact APEX and ask them. i mean, yeah you can connect everything just like you would with cars that are compatible but it will not work the same way. chances are you're not gonna do any good to your performance, especially if your motor is bone stock. even if that controller is compatible with your car, you can only determine the right settings via dyno tuning.
motors with different mods will have different reactions to certain set-ups.
if tom has a turboed 3rd gen, and he has used this VAFC on his car and tuned it through a dyno session then he knows what set-up is good for his car. there is no way he can tell you what set-up to run on your engine UNLESS he dyno-tuned the same B20A5 motor with same mods. so i suggest you pay $50-60 and get your car strapped to a dyno and go from there. no one can tell you exactly what set-up to run. when it comes to stuff like this DYNO is the only way.
when i first bought my FIELD SFC-VTEC a tried playing with different set-ups, but it didn't work. (hm.. let me set this up here, let me lean out the fuel here, etc and then you go test drive it and you can't really tell what you just did). then i dyno'd it and realized that the set-up i had actually made my car slower. let a pro tune this for you through dyno. don't ask people what they recommend, half of the people don't even know what VAFC is for anyway. i know, but i still can't tell you a set-up for your car. these gadgets require fine tuning, no matter what car, what engine, what mods...
now to get to your problem, couldn't really help you much unless i drive it.
it could be that your fuel is too lean, or even too rich.
most people think they can just richen the fuel and expect the car to be faster because more fuel means more power. WRONG! i found out that my car makes more power when i lean the fuel out by 4% all the way to 4000rpm, and stock after that. our engines are very different too, so don't do what i did either.
not much else i can tell you..... DYNO is the way.

Thanks for the response. I talked to Tom, he had his hooked up and working correctly. The 3gen lude is too old for apexi to toy around with I guess But, Tom said I might have set something wrong under the settings mode. Or my MAP sensor wire came lose causing the stalls. If anybody else knows what wrong or can offer some suggestions. Please do so! Thanks
