Pad and Tire Life with Track Events
In the past week I got to put a bunch more track miles on my R (261 at Mid-Ohio plus 77 at GingerMan). I've kept detailed records of mileage and changes of pads, tires, etc since I bought the car early last year, so I can keep an eye on how things are wearing. Here is what I've gotten as lifespans so far:
Street Tires:
Original RE010 - so far 10K total miles including 186 track miles, still plenty of tread left
Track Tires:
Yokohama A032R (205/50-15, started new but not shaved or heat cycled - rotated front to back only, never flipped on the wheel) - corded one left tire along the outside edge after 1332 total miles including 946 track miles, the other three vary in the amount of tread left.
Front Pads:
Original OEM - 3809 total miles including 223 track miles
Endless CC-X - 2850 total miles including 279 track miles
RM Racing - 4589 total miles including 543 track miles
RM Racing - not many miles, just put them on
Rear Pads:
Original OEM - 11778 total miles including 1209 track miles, still on the car but down to about 2-3 mm pad material, will switch them after this coming weekend at GingerMan
Hope this information is helpful.
