Interior / Exterior RSX Color Combinations
I've been interested in awhile of the thought of getting an RSX. So far I know I'm going to want to go with a white RSX, manual, with no spoiler.
The one thing that's worried me though, is I can't stand light interiors (sorry!). I have read that all white USDM RSXes came stock with the tan (Titanium) interiors and so far I haven't been able to find any photos of white RSXes with black interiors. Well, besides the one where I saw someone swap interiors with a BOM RSX... but there were a few things then that were even missed plus I'd have to find someone willing to trade.
Here's what I've found out from a little looking around...

So I guess I'm out of luck then, right? There wouldn't happen to be a Canadian model that's white with black interior stock, is there? I'm leaning towards the Type-S btw.
Oh, and anyone who has conflicting info or info to add, I'll add to the list what color interior comes on what color exterior. The years for the colors came from Honda's EPC (I only have up to 2002 on my computer, and had to use an online one for the rest of the info).

Does interior color really mean that much? I'd concentrate on finding a nice low-mileage car before I let a titaninum interior stop me from picking the exterior color I wanted.
BTW I am not a fan of black leather interiors. I was quite happy when my white Type-S had a titaninum interior. Looks classier too IMO, which is probably why the USDM RSX's received it.
Milano red = titaninum interior.

i have an 03 rsx-s Arctic Blue w/ black leather interior. I love the way the blue is, it's kinda sexy. Gets me off each time i look at my car after i wash it. lol j/k. But i am changing the seats to ITR red seats just because red, blue, and black have a smoother flow then just black and blue. It's all on preference. Ya like the guy said i'd look at low mileage first before you pick a color. Remember you can always get a paint job. You can always replace the interior with what you want but remember buy a car that you want not what someone else influences you to buy.

Well... I would have to drive it daily and I don't like it. And yes, interior color does matter to me just like low miles matter to you. There are LOTS of RSXes I see for sale around here with low enough mileage that I'd be interested in them.
I just have always wanted white with black. The mods I would like to do to it would not look good with the tan interior imo and I would not like to have to look at the tan interior all the time. The leather isn't that bad... but I could not stand to have the cloth.
To give you an idea of the RSX market around me, this is what I found online from a short search. There are plenty more that aren't listed here. I live in a green state, so most people on the roads buy imports, not just people into imports. Finding a low-mileage RSX will not be a problem.

Pretty sure PWP rsx's don't come with a black interior. I have seen only a handful and they were from people who swapped in the black interior. Interior doesn't really matter that much... Its much better to get a car in good mechanical condition then having one with a black interior. Of course I only paid $13k for my clean title pwp 02 rsx with 50k on the odometer
Well, of course I'm not going to buy a heap.
As I said before, there are lots of RSXes here for sale. It should not be a problem for me to find a car in good mechanical condition in the exterior color I would like.
I would just prefer a black interior. No matter how much anyone tells me it doesn't really matter, I don't like the light interior. I could get a mint Premium White Type S with 10k on it for 15k... and I'd STILL wish it had a black interior. I could get it as a hand-me-down and I'd STILL want the black interior.
Does anyone else have any info on the interiors that match to the colors I listed that I don't know the interior color of?

Adding this down here (it was in the first post) so that it's searchable.
Oh, and of course Royal Ruby Pearl is often called Redondo Red Pearl after the color used on the Civic. It's the same color code, but the RSXes are called Royal Ruby instead.

So then my choices would be (if I want a stock black interior):
Nighthawk Black Pearl - I definately don't want to own a black car. While I like how it looks, it won't last.
Eternal Blue Pearl - Not a Type-S color.
Artic Blue Pearl - Not into blue much.
Vivid Blue Pearl - Not into blue much.
Satin Silver Metallic - Not into silver.
Alabaster Silver Metallic - Not into silver.
Magnesium Metallic - Probably my favorite from the selection.
Blaze Orange Metallic - Too pink and too bright.

Sounds like that might be my option if I want it stock...
I wonder what that could involve to get one here.

the only way you can get black interior is if A) you do a complete interior swap or B) you go to canada and buy your rsx over there.
i used to own a nbp, but now i own a milano red
i also felt the same way about the "tan" interiors
but now that i've owned one for over a year now, i like it a lot
especially because i live in TX
black + leather = scorched ***
but for eye candy, the titanium has really grown on to me

Sweet. Definately something nice to have on cool days with a leather interior.
I should try to see if there's anyway I can find out about all the options the Canadian cars have. The Type-Ses up there still have moonroofs thought, right?

Crap... if this is right, I don't think I want a Canadian car.

So, in the end there are 3 ways to get the job done. You can tell which registration method is proper for each method of getting it into the country. Here are the ways to register it:
1.Have a RI bring it into conformity
-To do this, the car must first be reviewed and approved as possible to bring to conformity. It says if there's a similar american model, it's pretty likely it will bne approved.
-You must have the car in possesion, and pay 150% (1 1/2) times the car's value, then all the costs of moding. At lowest, you could expect to get a shitty siR or VT or say $5000 shipped to Canada. Aside from all your costs of getting the CRX, and getting it into america, you'd have to put up $7500 if you paid $5000. Then, modification estimates run between $5K-$10K. Dont ask me how, but those were general costs for moding a vehicle I was given by several RI's.
-So Car cost, getting it into USA, plus deposit and mod costs, your looking at anywhere from $16K to $22K, and thats for a shitty $5000 siR in bad condition.</TD></TR></TABLE>
