Default Ran a new personal best on my 235/60/15 M&H's.

I was running the in the PINKS All Out today at Rockingham Dragstrip. Ran a new best on the big street tires and only 10psi of boost.

60' 1.842
330' 5.047
1/8th 7.653
MPH 94.66
1000 9.907
1/4 11.854
MPH 114.87

There was a headwind/crosswind so that could have affected my MPH. On that particular run I tree'd a Camaro pretty good, and out ran his quicker but losing 11.668 @ 114.66 mph

Setup is:
EG hatch (minus carpet, rear seat, passenger seat)
Bone stock USDM B18C (ARP Headstuds)
Drag Turbo Kit
2.5 mandrel Kteller exhaust
Bone stock GSR tranny
Stock axles
CC Stage 5 (4 puck sprung hub)
Tuned on Crome by RLZ

That run they had like 9psi in the tires and I was doing 2nd gear burnouts. Other runs were no where as good though. Most of the time it was my fault though.

I would like to cut some 1.7's with them as well. I dont take my car to the track often enough to practice launching it though.

Yep I cant complain one bit about my Drag kit. I know for a fact that I could run 10's with mine. One bad thing though, my manifold has developed a crack in it I have another cheap cast manifold that Im going to try out sometime in the near future possibly with a different turbo.

Thanks for the compliment Ben, maybe I can get it as fast as your last setup on these tires!!!!!

Im sure your mph was alot higher than mine though.

My Drag kit isnt all stock. Got a Turbosmart 35mm wastegate and a Rev Hard intercooler. Still a drag mani and turbo though.

Car made 279whp and 200 ft lbs of torque on RLZ's dyno @ 10psi on this engine.

As far as the car its a 92 Dx without the carpet. I want some carpet but have not ran across anyone with the factory black carpet that wants to give it to me!! lol. For this race I removed the passenger and rear seat. Still had my amp in the back though!!!!. I guess the car probably weighs 2200 with me in it or more.

I would like to run some PS races in it. I dont have a truck or a trailor though had to rent a Uhaul tow dolly and borrow a friends gas guzzling Dodge for this race and it about drained the old bank account hahahaha.

sounds like me. I had to rent a uhaul trailor and use my friends 6.0 denali to pull it to norwalk last year. it cost me more in gas than it did for my room for 2 nights.

congrats on the time though. shows you don't need all the power in the world to run good times.

I cant afford to have alot of power now, but Im a believer in having a good running car that will run good times with out alot of power.

I have another B18C that needs to be sleeved and rebuilt that I can fall back on in the event this stock engine lets loose on me. About the only part that I dont have two of is a tranny.
