Default My birthday present

Well my friend's family all pitched in to get me a seat cowl for my SV for my birthday. I love the looks of the cowl, but it was pretty low on my list of next mods, so i'm really glad that they got it for me. I went out between rain spells today to snap a few pics.

I agree with that, I like the svs but the reason I bought the naked was because if I bought the S I would want to get full fairings w/ the naked all I need is a seat cowl and I'll be happy.

I'm kinda the same way. I might do the Buel headlights and windscreen on my unfaired SV though.

The seat cowl looks nice

Well, the lower fairing does look sort of lonely all there by itself like that...

the rear wheel is a 98 CBR f3 wheel. It allows you to run a 170 or 180 tire on the bike. Next time i buy tires i'm getting a 170.

The front wheel is a GSXR wheel. I painted both of them duplicolor wheel coat bronze. If it chips off it's like 10 bucks to buy another couple cans and do em again. Much cheaper than powdercoating.

Do you have the blue or the red sv?
