i was thinking the exact same thing- the outside looks more black than purple though- i think the engine bay is more of a purple than the outside. notice in the first pic how the lighting is the same on the engine bay and exterior of the car- thats why im thinkin the engine bay is a seperate color.

thanks for the replies fellas. The teal hatch is mine. As for the black one, its engine bay is a different color than the car. The car is black and the bay is purple. He wanted it to be like that so it stood out more when you popped the hood rather than looking at a black bay.

yeah I bought the car as a rolling chassis a month ago today and I HATE black engine bays. So I had it painted prowler purple.
