i know coilovers are the **** and you should get them instead of springs but for a highschool senior they are a little pricy so im getting springs for now but im stuck between espelir tanbe and tien which ones would you go with if you had to? thanx guys
first off. prepare to be hounded about being so young driving an s2000. People dont like seeing young drivers in s2000's. I guess they have good reason, but you cant judge everyone by other peoples f ups.
to answer your question. i have the s-techs and i am not SUPER happy with them...but they do the job i guess. if you are looking for a significant drop..s-techs are not for you.

its ok b20 i dont really care if i get hounded i wanted this car since i was 11 and i went through two cars plus worked my *** off to get enough money to buy my dream car so if anyone has a problem with me only being 18 and owning a s2k i really dont care oh and and im not looking for a significant drop just a good set of springs that i would be happy with until i save up enough for coilovers cna you post a pic of your s with the tiens cause those are the ones i have been leaning towards
i have skunk2 springs...they are in backwards because more than one ******* (about 5 people on s2ki) told me to put the shorter ones in the rear.....and the rear is sitting lower than my front right now, soooo im gunna switch em this weekend and then get the car aligned.....right now after lowering without an alignment the car is all over the road....so after i switch em and get it aligned i'll let you know how it handles!

yea i have seen the the skunk2 and the car looks sick but i got to drive to down town philly for my job like 4 times a week and im afraid they will be a lil too low but they do look sick
I had springs on my wrx tanabe gf210s, and while they are great if you take into acct the cost of buying springs and shocks(you will need them sooner or later) and that coil overs the spring and shock is mount so less install, coil overs are not that much more.
If I were you I would wait and get a good set of used or inexpensive coil overs, but not cheap ones

hey man, umm i would agree with papa5murf and say save your money until you can get coilovers. No point taking a detour and wasting your money right? However, if you really really want to get springs right now, I'd go with espelirs.
Much props to you too man, I'm just like you. I worked my butt off ever since i was a freshmen in high school to get this car. It took me 5 years (would have been 3 if I didn't take a detour myself and bought an EK) to save up and get this car, which meant working summers full-time and working a significant amount hours during school. I'm still working a lot of hours right now while in school just to pay off the car, but its worth it....so yea man, I know how you feel....take my advice though man, wait a lil longer and get coils, you won't regret waiting.

espelir, rsr, or swift.
i wanted swift but found a deal on the ASD's so i got those instead. i like the drop it's even all around.
tein's only drop an inch which is not really as noticeable.
