I believe omni suggests 9500 as the max, however I've seen people take them to 10k with no issues.

One more guy with some sort of unwarranted grudge against a company trying to help out fellow HT enthusiasts. Go figure.

If you spent less time trolling HT bashing Omni and more time out in the real world maybe you wouldn't have such a **** poor attitude.

Just for the record.

Omnipower retainers are made in the USA by certified Grade 5 6AL-4V titanium that is heat treated to 160,000 PSI tensile strength. Grade 5 titainum normally comes about 120,000 psi tensile strength. for companison sake the material is equal in strength to a grade 9 bolt @ 160,000 psi tensile strength. 120,000 PSI is only equal to a grade 5 bolt.

Our valve springs are wound here with imported material. (JDM)

if you look at our valves vs an OEM valve they look identical. thats about all i can say about that.

On a side note, in my spare time i make all kinds of things out of titanium.

this is one of the cross member bolts for the EG/DC Stock vs Titanium

This is the entire EG/DC cross member bolt kit in titanium.

These are some of the nuts i made including the castle nuts for ball joints.

Some of my friends are appearance minded so i made a titanium vtec solenoid and water neck kit for them.

heres the tansmission bell housing bolts in titanium,

as an engine guy myself i did a few cam cap bolt kits in titanium.

Since Omnipower offers front and rear lca's we often get complaints that the stock bolts are rusted and can't be removed. This is most common back east where they salt the roads in winter. So I made a titanium rear lca bolt kit for the RSX,EG,DC,EK EP-3 for people who want to eliminate the chance of rusted and frozen lca bolts. In addition to saving .45-.7 pounds depending on application they are rated at grade 9 strength.

We are currently working on an RSX limited edition rear lca set that includes titanium bolts ( total of 8). the total weight savings is 3.1 pounds. the total weight of both stock units is 4.8 so its quite a large amount of weight considering how light the stock parts are. We could easily make the rsx lca out of the lowest quality bushing and aluminum we could find, then offer it for the lowest price in town. but thats not what omnipower is about.

Ive run full omni valvetrain for about 20,000 miles now, with probably close to 75 dyno pulls, daily driven, and tracked a few times, everything has held up fine.

you can PM me and let me know what your looking for in particular.

We recomend some sort of lube. Moly, motor oil etc. and torque to factory spec.

There are really no issues. dont use an impact gun to install/remove. thats about it.

they are 50% lighter than stock also.

What's the future for Subaru products look like? I know you used to produce coil overs but I don't see them listed anymore. I do see that you guys have some prototype Evo stuff so are you guys expanding into different markets at all?

Just FYI I recently pulled my OMNI vt (springs and retainers) with over 30k miles on them to do a VJ and change the valve seals. They looked great, no signs of abnormal wear, thinning.. nothing.

maybe,
i did spend hours on the side of the highway over quality control issues, does he make good products... ahh no.. not really... toser makes most of his products, omni himself, sure he's a good guy and likes what he's doing.

but whenever i see omni products i end up recalling the real world experience of waiting for a tow truck.

shrug, thats life... i'd just rather go with supertech/isky/ferra myself
