gt35r coolant line pics

id like to see some pics of how everyone is running there lines.. im more than likely going to run mine off my iacv and just wanna make sure i have everything going the right way! thanks
I dont have pics but I just got some brass T fittings from H-depot and T'd into my supply and return lines from my heater core. From there I just ran the lines up to the turbo where I had hard lines that made the soft lines connect to the turbo about 1' inch below the compresser housing. When I ran them over the trans I just tucked them right under neath the slave cyl. lines and it looks clean.
So in the pic above, Im to take it that you bypassed sending coolant to the TB? I cant quite see where you tucked the line under the IM, but i think i know where it connects. Its hardly rocket science.

i have one coming off the pipe in the back off the water pump, and one to the water jacket drain plug in the front of the block. I don't know if this is the optimum setup, but it works, and its clean. If you take the water pipe off, replace the orings, cus it willllllll leak like it's going outta style.

u get any over heating like that? i have that same coolant port but its capped off, and where does the back line go to?

x2, running mine like this one, no overheating here

car does not overheat but it is 10* higher than usual all the time. even under the highest boost conditions temps just sit at 200 vs 190. this seems to be a common occurance on the water cooled ball bearing turbos we've run. temp guage on the dash doesnt even budge but on the aem/aftermarket guages you can see the difference.

so its T'd off from one of the lines? can u take a pic of it? i know there are 2 ports off the iacv

thanks alot guys i think im going to run mine how the red car is seems very simple and straight forward... but i would like to see another pic of were the rear line goes exactly.
ok,i understand the rear coolant pipe and how the line goes on there....
now how does the other one work.... that appears to go where the rad hose does...
my LS is different then that GSR in the picture.. but im curious as to how that one attaches..

not a great picture:


one line is off a fitting welded to the coolant tube in the back of the block, as the guy above.
The other goes to a fitting welded where the coolant line used to run to the heater hose, right out of the head. Its basicly next to where the red car has the hose ran, but its to a much later port with more flow. So from coolant tube in back to back or turbo to front of turbo to head, where heater hose used to be.

i have a water cooled garrett t3 that i'm trying to figure where to get the feed from. I think i kind of have an idea though. I was thinkin of using the drain port on my griffen radiator as a feed. But is there enough pressure there to really be usefull?? heres a pic.

just get a fitting and run a stainless braided line from there. if not, yah lets get some more pics of how people are using the throttle body or something.
