install it. shocks will blow when they blow, maybe in a week, maybe in a year.

i've heard the ride to be nice. do a search for people who have these springs. they can tell you what they think of it. i installed it in a 98 coupe and it rode nice.

Depending on the life of your shocks already reduce it by half.

Don't do it. Save up and do the shocks, springs, and rear camber adjusters at the same time. I used to ride on S-Techs w/ stock shocks and it's no good. The shocks can't handle it, blow out, and feel like CRAP.

Plus, the S-Techs lower the rear a lot. Looks nice, but NOT good for handling. It gives too much negative rear camber, which you really don't want in a FWD car unless you like understeer and **** poor handling.

I removed mine, bought new shocks and got an alignment. My car handles way better (good), but looks stock again (bad). Overall:

first off

i spent prolly over $1000 on suspension last summer and went from tokico despecs fwith skun 2 coil overs and loved that.. but one of them blew.. so i sent the 1 and got then bought tein S techs. during winter someone offerd me a amount of money for them that was higher than what i paid so i sold em. Ive been doing suspension for a while and i know that a 1.5" drop is not alot at all. plus with summer being here i wont drive it alot considering ihave 2 bikes and a motor swap to finsh peicing together.

The S-Techs that I put on my car lowered it enough to give it noticeable negative camber. I am pretty sure that they lowered me more than 1.5" too. When the shocks blow out, (which will happen soon) your car will ride lower still (more - camber), and be on the bumpstops in hard cornering.
I guess if you want the car to just look a certain way it's fine. BUT... it will make the car ride like crap when the shocks/struts go out, and destroy the cars handling balance.

I'm just giving you the heads up from personal experience. I thought the drop would have made minimal or positive changes but I was wrong. It will ride great for a few thousand miles (maybe, but even less for me) but then you will notice problems.

Made my car feel like a bucket on freeways, turns, or any type of bump. I've also had dangerous understeer slide/push when mountain driving.
