UPDATE!!! the timing was finished. and we got all the vacuum lines lined up properly and went back through the harness and made sure it was all right. car idled today for about 5 minutes and ran pretty dang smooth. just idlin high and was loud with the broken exhaust. tomorrow were gonna clean it up and put more gas in it and see what we can finish.

the bad:
-the timing needs to be done on the motor... when thats done the car will be driveable
-the clutch cable needs to be adjusted a little
-its got 2" piping ran to a muffler... but the piping broke somewhere in the middle and needs to be rewelded
-pass side fender has dent but other than that the body is perfect

the good:
-the car is 100% rust free
-has a great paint job

asking price: $3,000 obo!! this is a steal. i know i could prob ask for more if i were to finish it up and clean things up some... but i want it gone. i want to upgrade somewhat.

im definately interested..i would like to know like to know why you havent set the timing yourself...if i purchased i would like to try and set the timing at your place so i could drive it home...so all it needs is the timing set from the crank to the cams?

 

now that its gettin warm out i might just finish the timing myself and get it all good.

 

cars been put up in the garage for a few monthes cuz of the IL weather. but yea we had our first 60º day so rolled the car out and finished installin the crx si dash that i had started a few monthes earlier. finished it up and half cleaned the thing out. i couldnt find my shopvac or it would be reaal clean in there. but anyways, heres a couple pics. enjoy.
