it's not much but i love it..
Stock DX ehaust
tip and exhaust polished by me, ghetto tip was welded on by a buddy

well it doesnt LOOK bad... but since when has the purpose of having an exhaust system been for looks?
ps... I would have at least cut the stock tip back a few inches so it wasn't so visible inside the welded tip.

i dunno... jus know i found it at kragen.... never again did i see one there though. I wanted to buy more.


plus i'm not too into making my car fast. I like my leather seats, and HID retrofits, rather that performance parts. And besides, it's just a tip. I didnt wpend a whole lot of money on it. Just time and some good'ol elbowgrease.


*EDIT* yea i was thinkin bout cutting back the stock part a little bit but then just said fugg it. I didn't have anything to cut it so i didn't. I could care less though. It's still a stock exhaust.

man that has to be one of the cleanest lookin oem honda mufflers . good job on the polishing . what did you use to polish it ?

thanks for the compliment...

i used 1500, 2000 grit sand paper, then polish with mothers mag&aluminum polish w/a dremmel.

yea, thinkin about it. since i DO have a electric sander.Shouldn't take too long. That front part there i had to hand sand.

btw you took the oposite aproched of what i did. hahah
i took an aftermarket exhaust made it look stock and welded a stock tip to it. LOL

how long did it take to do? I'm going to put back on my stock ITR exhaust and the thing looks like crap from storage this is just the thing to do... Aslo what kind of bits did you use on the dremel? just askig so I know what to buy.
