I am looking for a JDM parking pole for my EG where is the best place to get one?-JDM

 

sorry if i sound retarded, but what are you even talking about?

and why do you call yourself JDM?

 

A parking pole is a pole that comes up out of the bumper (kinda like an antennae[sp?]) on JDM vehicles so that you can gauge how close your bumper is to a pole, parking stop, curb, etc.



eBay it...that's the only place I've seen them...but then again I'm not really looking for those specifically.

i know it isn't my car, but why would you want to do some ridiculous body work and conversion crap, and then add a JDM parking pole? it doesn't even seem like it goes together, unless you are a shitty parker.

All of this coming from a white guy i would imagine. One thing to think about... the majority of people who love/jock imports are guys. So the more **** you do to your car to get the praise of people out there, the more you are just doing it strictly for the love of ****. to you

Probably should have kept it clean with a lip, stock interior, some advans/spoons etc and maybe some jdm recaro's or brides. Just a thought when claiming to be "JDM"

actually "JDM" is an acronym that signifies the market in which <u>stock</u> vehicles are sold in Japan-nothing more nothing less. a way of life ? a code ? goodness

 

not a huge fan.. but i guess if ur goin with the whole jdm look then go for it.. just seems like a bit of work and money that could be used on other things.

In more serious news:
I really don't know that much about JDM parking polls as I usually flame the crap out of them as soon as I see them, but the one posted in that picture by JKov240, it looks retractable. Are they all on an angle like that or do they go straight up?

I don't know what gem to society decided to put it on an angle but assuming you really couldn't park your civic because of the close traffic, a parking poll that went straight up and down would give you A LOT more accurate of a reading as to where the corner of your bumper is opposed to on a slant like that. That's simple knowledge as the brain cannot give accurate measurements in accordance with the metric or US measurement systems so you'll never know for sure unless it's analyzed to be completely vertical <u>w/ a properly working level</u> (which I doubt anybody used). Just wanted to throw that out there.

As for where you can find them?

Type in "JDM Parking poll" or just "parking poll" into ....y'kno, anything. Google, H-T search, etc. You'll come up w/ tons of results on them and I'm sure there's some pple in the 99,000 other times this has been covered that provided links as to where it can be purchased.

There is nothing to delete, I just wanted some information on a JDM parking pole and I got it. you guys are all haters and do not deserve to be a part of the JDM lifestyle. do what you want to your cars, this is my car and I will build it as I please, criticisizm is good, it shows how pathetic all you HT lamers are when somebody doesnt conform to a certain style.-JDM
