Default Which one is better for my Type R Greddy EVO exhaust or Apexi N1 or Comptech?

I want to buy either the Greddy Evo or the Apexi N1 cat back exhaust for my TypeR but I don't know what any of the exhausts look like on a TypeR can someone post some pictures of either one of these exhausts on their integra. And give my some info(how loud is it?). The comptech exhaust is supposed to be good does anybody have any pictures of that exhaust on their TypeR?

The apexi provides pretty good gains but the downside is that it's a little on the loud side.

IF I had an R: my choices would be Type One, Buddy Club Spec III, Kakimoto N1 or R system. GReddy EVO and APEXi N1 are nice too. Look around and try and find Integras with the systems you mentioned. Good luck.

I would recommend the Apexi N1 over the other two options. Out of curiosity what else have you done to your R. I know that your signon says JUN, but that doesn't necessarily detail what you already have done to the car.

The reason that I ask is that you may have better luck with other mods before the exhaust, especially on a relatively stock car. I would recommend a Header before buying an exhaust. I noticed minimal gains from the exhaust (1/4 mile proven), but saw great gains with the header. Also, powersteering provides a much greater power increase.

GReddy EVO is probably the quietest one you've mentioned. Comptech is next in line and the N1 is grand daddy of loud... it droans on and on and on...

The n1 is great. It is loud as hell... I'll have to admit, it is annoying when i'm daily driving or trying to be quiet at night, but when you're on open roads doing some "spirited" driving, its great. Even with the silencer, the n1 is still loud. The silencer IMO only helps to quiet down vtec.

Comptech is quieter than the Evo.

As a side note, my friend put the Greddy Evo on is WRX... Very nice. Incredibly quiet, which is a change from the Integra version. Greddy on the Integ is fairly loud... But it's a good loud, in that it's not buzzy sounding...

MUGEN twin loop. I have it on mine and I love it. I wouldn't take anything else for a street car. Race car another story, but I hate being noticed. Especailly by cops . Think about that also. My choice would be either the twin-loop (by the way don't mistake the twin-loop with the DC sport TCS. I heard it and to me it's kinda loud and very ricey.), or get an apexi WS for a good street set-up. Just my opinion.

Jimmy - who doesn't care for loud cars on the street.

DC TCS system is not ricey. It's a nice system. DC makes nice, quality exhausts that are very deep. They're exhausts are better quality than their headers. JUN exhaust? Probably very expensive. I've only seen their mufflers, stainless and Titanium, over $400. I've noticed that any exhaust on the ITR is gonna be louder than say, Civic Si, or GSR. If you get any N1 style exhaust it is gonna be considerably louder: APEXi N1, Type One, Buddy Club Spec III, etc..

I had a Greddy that was supposivly 8 months old and all the packing came out of it. So I'm not a BIG fan of Greddy right now.

Between the 3 you mentioned, I'd get the N-1. Oh wait, I already have one. I ordered the WS for my hatch, but I think I'm gonna change it and get another N-1 I like mine so much.
