Default Fuel cuttoff at 3500rpm and no power at all before hitting that!!!

I have a simmilar problem with my type R in my integra...ive been thru 3 distributor and its still wont stop...its at 3500rpm that it wont go up...and i have no power and i heard some backfire from the exhaust too in the same time..its like a fuel cutoff at 3500rpm...no cell nothing...i turn off the key and but it back on and its fine for maybe 5 minutes or even 3-4 weeks...its never the same...its pretty anoying and its frustrating too I am obd0 but convert to obd1 and im runing a P28 with a hondata s100 but not tuned...just the chip and thats it...its maybe my ecu??? Ill try with another P28 what it does...

Do you guys know what can cause my problem???
Thanks

hondata sucks...ill just buy another P28 and but back the hondata inside...or maybe just ask my tuner a change for another s100

Check your TPS. I had a sim. problem with a car I worked on. If the tps goes past 5 volts it will have the same effect.

Have you tryed adjusting the tps?

Buddy of mine had a similar problem in his d16z6 crx. It would climb up to 3500 and act like it was hitting a limiter or something.

He changed out the ECU and that killed the poblem. I'd say it's your ECU more than likely.

there is no way for the tps to go past 5v, its supply is 5v. Its not some kind of superconductor....lol

I've seen very few case of an ECU go bad. Unless it was chipped wrong. I've seen bad grounding also do some strange things.

Well you would assume that the circuit that the ecu uses would use a good voltage regulator, that wouldn't allow more than 5v out period. ****, I could build that circuit.

leaning toward the ecu.. make sure your chip is in fully and all the legs are broken.. your socket might be a lil loose.
