Default Edelbrock Performer X For B-Series

Edelbrock has come out with their Performer X manifold for the B-Series engines now.

http://www.edelbrock.com/sport...shtml

They have had this manifold out for the D-Series engines for a while now. I like the fact that their products are known to be of good quality perform well.

Another company I have yet to hear anything at all about is BBK. They also have a manifold (Similar to the Victor X) that has been out for quite some time but have not gotten much publicity.

The manifold looks nice.

Give it a shot, and see if you make a dollar.

some other stuff on their site

DA/ACURA B-SERIES MANIFOLDS
The Performer X intake manifolds for Acura and Honda's are engineered for street/strip applications where peak torque and horsepower gains are realized between 4500-8200 RPM. The larger-than-stock plenum volume and 9" runner length are tuned for producing peak power at high RPM. The Performer X Series manifold is ideal for all-motor and turbo applications. May be upgraded to an eight-injector system by purchasing a secondary fuel rail kit and drilling through the partially machined secondary injector bosses.

secondary fuel rail

anybody running either of these?

I ordered the manifold today and will have it looked over by one wiser than I. I tried to get more pictures before ordering but it does not seem that anyone is stocking it.

Any thoughts on the throttle body placement?
Reminds me of the K series manifolds.

Any thoughts on the secondary fuel rail?
I have been thinking about ordering the rail and using it for my primary injector location, capping off the other location.

Is it a custom rail? I think it is a good idea.

I'm pretty sure the secondary rail is an option when you order the manifold.

i think i might buy it. ahah. im loving the 2nd set of injectors. only thing that bugs me is the runners look a little long for a high revving application. i guess they didn't want another victor x.
