ok..now dont get my wrong..i love my type s...but when it was straight out the factory..it was way too high off of the ground...they need to lower that a lil..i mean yes...we'll drop it anyways ..just saying..does anyone else agree?

...theres a few other problems some have with the rsx asides its height... (cosmetic rice). its more about the handling of the car that comes with the lowering which is more important.

but anyways sticking to rice factors, yes, its too high off, it looks like a fat mouse, and the headlights...for the love of god...the headlights.....

asides that, i guess theres really nothing else wrong with it.

anyways....i think the rsx type s is nice..all stock..dropped about 2" all around..with the oem kit will do just fine till u get money to do more things to it

 

Well,..think about it,...Our Type-S' are kinda high,..but look @ the damn GT & GTS(celica),..that **** is real high,...I mean there's a damn party in the Wheel well!!!!

a little too high? man it was way to high for my taste...but 2" drop here and my problem is solved...now i'm just waiting for some decent shocks to come out...
its a totally different car when its dropped...my friends used to hate on me cause my car was so high, but when i dopped it all their opinions changed...

 

Dude, since when does a car being factory height make it rice? Enough is enough already, yes the things too high (especially in the back) but that has nothing to do with rice at all, if you lowered the thing till it's exhaust was scraping then you'd have a claim, but not vice versa.

I'm impressed by the way, everyones getting much better at ignoring the ***** these days.

Well Im going to have to agree with you that the rsx-s comes to high from the factory. To me the front seemed higher then the back, but maybe it was just me. For the first month I rolled around high as could be. Its a nice car and I love it but it was high. To me it was better then the Gsr. trust me, I drove a gsr and it lagged bad. Steering seemed slugish and the body seemed to sway bad. I test drove a 2ooo gsr and it didnt seem all that good. Then I test drove the RSX-S and it out performed the gsr hands down. But I guess we all have different preferences. Well my recomendation is to lower the RSX-S as soon possible. looks nice lowered on some rims. here is a pic of my rsx-s lowered on some skunk2 coilovers and on 17 inch jdm type R rims. The car also handles better lowered. well good luck.

as for The wing---> I wanted to be wingless,.but seen some good lookin pic's of R's and then I took em' and lowered them and they looked 10x better.STock Ride height to me dosen't look that good w/ the wing but slammed,..it looks SWEEt!!!
PLUS i got it for like $150,..so i bought it!

by no means was i dissin the wing, i was just trying to describe how my ride will soon look...i'm more for the wingless look, but not because that wing is ugly, just my personal preference...

 

oh i hear ya,.no prob!!!,..I wanted it that way too,..but the RSX does look a little more Luxuary w/o a wing sort of.I don't really like the stock wing,..and + no one here(my town) has it,.or any of the stuff I have for that matter,.so thats another reason I got it!

yea..the stock wing is the most hideous thing i have ever seen..makes the rsx-s look like a wannabe "fast" car..but whatever..i dont have it so im ok..haha anyways..you guys keep saying what kind of coilovers and etc to drop it on..but HOW MUCH? BACK AND FRONT! HOW MUCH DID YOU DROP IT..!!!!

 

well,.I didn't measure it by inches I measured it by rivets in the coil sleve.I would say a total of 3-3 1/2 inches(guess) on mine,..its slammed in the back,.maxed out,...and the front still has alot to go,.and my sh*t is pretty low!
Your lookin @ about $230+---Skunk2's,..$375+ for GC's not sure of anyone else is making them,.mostly springs out as of now!
