Default crx si seats.....

hey guys i just picked up some seats. i picked up a passenger side seat last weekend and 2 more seats just last night. so as of now i have 2 clean passenger side seats and 1 not so clean driver side seat (laugh when u see the pic below) and was wondering if i could convert one of the passenger side seats into a driver seats? i was thinkin of just transfering over the bottom pan, rails, and back adjuster from the driver side seat to the passenger side seat. is it possible? LMK

i picked up this seat at the roseville flee market and bargained it down from $10 to $2 i still couldnt believe it even as i was walkin away with it....

here is the set that i picked up last night for $20 for the pair.....
here is the driver side seat...

and here is the passenger side seat....

and here is a pic of both passenger side seats..

so has anyone ever done this conversion before? i have covnerted del sol seats and eg seat into my crx. but they have always been 1 passenger and 1 driver. if any one has done this before let me know how u did it. i want these either as my temp seats until i send my del sol seats to get re-done or i might just keep em not too sure yet. i kno i like the way my si seats in my hatch feel. thanks

Yeah, I've done the foam and cover swap too. Not really that bad, honestly.

But if the swap can be done, obviously, that's the better route.

If it does come down to swapping the foam/covers, use zipties - the hogrings are real bitch to deal with.

actually there was a guy that done a writeup on it once. You might be able to search and find it. It had some usefull info in it.

Good find on the seats.

the only in depth one that i found was for swapping in some newer seats into the rex. but not on converting passenger seat to driver. if someone has the link i would appreciate it. but ill try other forums n see wat comes up thanks for the advice.

Took a while to find it again its back from 2004 thats what I used when I swapped a perfect pax seat back foam and bottom foam over to a my old tore up driver seat frame and pan you just have to pull the extra over on the seat bottom and it works kik-*** no problems whatsoever just make sure to use good zip-ties if you dont want to use the hog-rings
