Default Spoon N1/Sport Exhaust system differences?

I was just wondering what the differences were between the Spoon N1 and Spoon Sport exhaust systems. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Besides sound, and minimal performance differences, nothing big.

Spoon n1 = way louder, lighter, more performance
Spoon Sport = quieter, heavier, little to no gains

Both have the same pipe diameter, so I doubt performance gains will be much different. Muffler is the only difference, and I doubt in just a bolt-ons only setup you'll flow enough air to cause the Sports muffler to be a restriction.

You have to remember the sport is 2x the n1 cost too.
700 vs 375

All recent Spoon N1's in the past 3 months have been 63mm piping Not the old 60.5

Does that include the B-pipe? Is that also a full 63mm system or just the axle back section?

X - who thinks 60mm exhausts w/ 2.5" headers on a Type R is a waste

It should be close to stock. They are only axle back but spoon does make a b-pipe now. Which is over 400 I believe

hmm... so the sport is over $1000 for a full cat-back... just for stainless steel. I guess the Spoon fairy dust they sprinkle over it really is special.

Damn, even HyTech's 2.5" catback w/ twin-loop muffler would be cheaper than a Spoon setup. I think that's when you KNOW you're too expensive.

Where can I get a Spoon N1, and will it fit on a GSR or only ITRs? Sorry for the stupid question!

I think it's only for the ITR's BUT I'm probably wrong.

I'm sure fitting the rear section wont be so hard. if it wont bolt on, take it to a muffler shop.

It fits on both GSR and TypeR for the DC2 application. It's a direct bolt on to your stock B pipe.

Spoon n1 = way louder, lighter, more performance
Spoon Sport = quieter, heavier, little to no gains
louder = faster in this case

Then why is the sport one almost twice the price of the n1? Kinda odd to me.

Actaully, the Sports muffler only provide monor gains but ON/OFF throttle repsonse from low-mid rpm ranges did improved.
