FS: 1999 3/4 ton Chevrolet Suburban 4X4 LT Loaded $9,000 IA
For sale:
1999 3/4 ton Suburban LT
454 big block motor, heavy duty transmission with 4.10 gear
(yeah, it'll haul what you want it to)
118,xxx miles, recent tune-up, less than 5k miles on brand new transmission
Exterior: Dark gray, chrome side steps, chrome appearance package (not tacky) polished aluminum aftermarket wheels.
Interior: Light gray, heated leather seats, optional third row seat.
This truck has been well cared for, the miles are almost all from highway driving. Previous owner was a firefighter, and it shows. Chrome is bright and shiny, no rust. Previous owner had documentation for every oil change, and included the original window sticker.
It has a new transmission (long story short, I screwed up and didn't check/change the transmission fluid when I first bought the truck. So the next week, when I took off for Sebring with the Corvette in tow, I burned it up when I got down there. I wasn't too happy. But with a fresh tranny, it'll go forever now)
New plugs, wires, rotor, cap, etc, etc.
It has all options, CD player, heated leather, home-link, it is very, VERY comfortable. The previous owner included a full set of vehicle-specific rubber floormats. These are really nice to have when it's wet outside, or if you plan on getting muddy. The original floormats are in awesome condition, no stains. This was a non-smoker truck.
With the third row seat out, and folding down the second row seats, I was able to fit a full size couch in the back of the truck, and close the doors behind it. I was even able to lay out full in the back of the truck and nap! It's the PERFECT tow vehicle for the price.
When towing our Corvettes with all of our racing gear in the back, it rides like a dream, really. It hardly ever downshifts, unless you're really pushing the speed going uphill. I was amazed that it tows better, and more comfortably than my father's '05 1/2 ton Silverado Z71.
I won't sell the truck for anything less than $9,000.00. I don't really have to/want to sell the truck, but I wouldn't mind jumping into a diesel just incase we decide to buy a big trailer after our previous trailer was stolen.
I'm leaving out a bunch of other stuff, but if you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM
Forgot to mention a couple things:
1. It DOES have a brake controller, you'll see it in the last picture.
2. This truck is CLEAN!!!
3. Like I mentioned in the original post, these pictures show the winter/rubber mats. I have the original floormats in the basement, as soon as I took them out and put the winter ones in, I shampooed them.
4. It has rear climate controls, you'll see that as well in one of the pictures.

ALSO: I am currently attending the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, so I'm gone Monday through Friday with no access to the internet. I'm only available on the weekends, so I might not respond to PM's right away... Please be patient with me!
