Default Good place to install H.I.D. Ballast (Pics Please)

Ok i just ordered a hit kit for my GSR, and i was woundering what was a good place to mount the ballast. The instructions said to mount them away from moving parts. I also have heard a few stories about radio interferance. if u mount them next to wire harnessess. Has anyone had any problems witht that?

Ill see if I can snap a few pics of mine, but I mounted one under the ABS motor and the other on the shock tower by the fender on the driver side.

I mounted mine inbetween the abs module. If you loosen the bolt a tiny bit to move the abs it will be a really tight fit. No zip ties required. As for the drivers side I just zip tied it about a foot behind the headlights.

I took off the front bumper and mounted them on the front fender support beam....it's like on the inside of the fenders....dry and there are stock holes for the harness....nice and clean...

check out team-integra.net under the articles. there is a nice place to mount it around the headlight area.

Here's mine, I will relocate them eventually, but here is a quick install and no radio interference...come to think of it I don't have an antenna so I don't have any radio :shrugs: on with the pics:

did mine the same way.. except i wrapped lots of electrical tape around the ballasts just in case. Good luck, it only takes under an hour to do, so do it right and do a clean install!

That depends on where you live and your local laws. Where I live....anything goes. Cops don't expletive with us on suspension, aftermarket gauges, etc. The only thing you get pulled over for is speeding.

Thanks 2 everyone who posted. I got them in and mounted the under the front bumper. The only problem i had was i had 2 wires reversed and when i turned on the head lights they blew both of the fuses. They look good as hell though just have to adjust them.
