what is the diffrence between the us vtec and the jdm vtec Solenoid ?

I asked this same question and its seemed like most JDM Vtec solenoids were the same as the US solenoids. But my JDM Type-S VTEC solenoid doesnt have an oil pressure switch even though the other JDM H22s do.

hmm thats werid and kinda doesnt make sense unless you are runing a jdm ecu that doesnt read the oil pressure for vtec

Sorry to jack the thread but wut is the part number on the solenoid for the usdm solenoid for an h22a4

i have no idea but on my vtec solenoid it says GF03 i dont know if that is the part number but i can search around n see wat i can find

I dont know but during my swap my solenoid was broken so I used the next closest thing , a solenoid from a single cam Accord. Guess theres no diffrence.

thats the part number i got forn honda but i think if u r trying to buy one it would be cheaper to get it from the junk yard unless ur willing to spend the 200-300 bux for it
