messed up on Rear lower tie bar install

well i was putting on my rear lower tie bar. i thought it would be as easy as taking off the 2 bolts but i forgot i had to jack up the part under the brake, now the holes dont align. how to the heck do i fix this?
**** i feel like an idiot
Yea a pic would help. I have no idea what you are talking about Fing up. Did you try to install a Progress rear sway or the Megan lower tie?
well heres pretty much my day went
just installed my 7500K Halos yesterday....SO BADASS!!!
..but i cant see **** at night..blah well its good enough

o0o0o0o0o
then came the ties
megan racing to be exact

wasnt really feeling the blue so...

Red
and without the plastic covering the label

dang thats tight...i know..

one down one to go WOOHOO!!
..
and heres when my day turned to ****
after taking off that plastic diffuser thing under the trunk the car, i proceeded to remove one of the tie bolts.
thinking it would be just like the front, i was terribly mistaken

after that bolt that you see that half *** out, the arm popped out of place. im thinkin, "o ****, thats not good". so my main concern was putting it back into place. after 2 hours of "jack up and down" combinations, i got it half way in. but its not enough for the grooves to meet the screw
just like my homemade intake......"fail"
"Someone help me pleee help meh pleee"

Damn, a lot of pics there. Well first, if you can't see **** at night with that HID kit, sell it and get a nice retrofit done....customlightz FTW. Second, I think for your problem, you're gonna need to keep messing around with lowering and raising on the jack like you have been doing. Have you tried just putting the car level on the ground? I was able to just jack up the one side of my car when I did my rear sway, which seems to be just as easy of an install as the Megan lower ties.

YOu have to keep working it up and down with the jack
secondly
STOP trying with the stock jack
you WILL hurt yourself moving the car
go to sears and pony up the money for a REAL jack.

u need 2 jacks ...
one to jack up the car so the wheel is off the ground ... remove the wheel to make it easier
u then use the other jack to raise that arm and put it back into place ...

My suggestions... know where to jack up your car, and get better jacks.
Red = bad spot
yellow= better spot
The best place (the one I have used for both my exhaust installation and sway bar install) have been the spots right in front of the rear tire... there is a thicker spot of metal right there, perfect for jacking up the car, jack it up, place a jackstand, goto the other side, jack it up, jackstand, and repeat as needed for height, but dont just jack one side WAY up then do the other, that can cause the other jackstand to tilt or fall.
EDIT: oh yeah, I forgot you will have to place one to support the wheels haha, so yeah definately going to need a support on that right circle as well. Jackstands and multiple jacks are your friend i have four of each.

Careful down there on the stock jack, you don't your face misaligned like your bolt. Safety first when underneith.

Yea using a stock jack for more than an emergency tire swap is extremely dangerous. Get a new jack asap

it wont affect the oilchange, all they have to remove is the plastic undercarriage and the filter is right there. The R18's filter is extremely easy to reach, the K20, however, is not.
