New garage pics....pg 17. More to come!
New Nursery pics.....pg 18
The lawn has arrived 6/6/08....page 19
Landscape pictures....pg 20
Well....myself and the fiance purchased our property back in August of '06. I plan on making this the timeline of our home. We moved out of our nice townhouse and into one bedroom at her parents place...yup, the in-laws! (but its not that bad really) All of our stuff is in storage and i honestly feel like ive been living our of a suitcase for the past 4 months. Anticipated move in date is end of April '07.
Highlights of the home:
Roughly 2500 sqft without the finished basement (~3450 with basement)
-9' ceilings on entire first floor
-Cherry hardwood floors throughout entire first floor foyer, bathroom, kitchen, morning room and hall
-Walkout basement
-9' Poured basement walls (minus 4" slab)
-2.5 car garage
-4 bedroom
-2.5 bath with seperate owners suite including stand up shower and full 2 person jacuzzi tub with jets
-walk in closets
-Recessed lighting throughout kitchen
I neverthought in a million years 5 years ago that by age 25 id be building my first home. With hard work and determination, anything is possible!
I plan to keep this page updated as often as possible!
It starts here:
12/14/06: Our property. Roughly 1 acre in a brand new development with no neighbors around us, we're the only lot in the third phase so i dont anticipate any neighbors for the next year or so. Me over looking my property! (the tree is super cool!)

My team of yellow laborers! (Fiance didnt want to get out of the car..."ITS TOO COLD!")

1/10/07: A HOLE!

1/12/07: Footers are in!

Here you can see the location of my future driveway and the forms in the background for my poured walls.

1/18/07: Forms are in place
Had the forms put in place today and they poured them during the early morning/mid afternoon!

Hmmm something is missing?.....

oh yeaaaa the concrete! duh....

Try sherwin williams for CW paint if you are being serious, they can mix you the car color code into latex paint for your house...(sherwin williams sells their own line of autobody paint ect) and a lot of bodyshops use it.....
They also sell the house paint
...
Or you can go Behr or Glidden
