Default d2 coilovers leaking..... but are brand new whats going on?

i bought a set of d2's from a local shop, went home and installed them with no issues no complaints. heres my problem, months ago i noticed there were 4 pretty good puddles of oil on all four corners of my car when it was up on jackstands, to see that my d2's are spewing fluid all over the place.

now if this was my street car and seen some time around the streets and hits pot holes, things like that i would understand but its in my drag car, and as everyone knows the car doesn't move unless it races, and to be honest it didnt even do that. lol

to make a long story short i didn't want to call out this in public but i wanted to know if anyone has a contact number or email address as i tried all the way to the Australian connection with no luck. i would really like to get this problem solved. any help would be appreciated. it has been 7 months with no answer on d2's part im very open to repair, but seems like they just dont care. if you guys see this pm me and we can fix the problem

thanks, Parker.

You are not in the wrong forum, but I wouldn't hold my breath for any solutions from the H-T crowd.

The shop where you purchased the coilovers from would be the first place I'd start.

It is worth flaming D2 now, what a bunch of tossers with an obvious crap product. You are definitely headed down the right path though!! I vote Penske.

I sense much suck in D2s customer service, time to start bad mouthing them to everyone you meet until you get taken care of. Any good company knows that it is a lot harder to repair a bad reputation than create a good one from scratch.

okay well, i would just like to inform all our road/drag racers that are looking into some coil overs for there car, as you read your way down this thread you can see the trouble i had with d2's. heres my story....
i spoke with a kind gentlemen on my space( which was the only place to find help with d2's) as which he informed me that he was d2, and that i explained my situation with them, well long story short, he vouched that he would warranty the shocks and would send them out to my door step, i was extremely happy about him taking care of me, as he stated all i had to do was pull this thread off ht. i told him i would agree as i did, and would put in a good word. as i waited for them which weeks went by, i kindly replied to him as to what was going on, and no response.

after multiple attempts on getting him to reply ,...still no word back i found out that you were able to see if they read the messages. he read every single one of them the day i sent them in. this made me feel like i was taken to the bank as the rest of us d2 buyers. they lie and cheat you out of your hard earned money, sell them with warranty and void them the moment you give them the cash. please do not buy from them, nor deal with them indirectly with shops. if they do sell them. i never got to use mine since they spewed the moment they were install on jack stands....yes they didn't even touch the ground..odd? i thought so.

when i get around for some extra cash i will remove these and discet them to see why they are such crap and do a full detailed report on what they use and the cost factor of getting them built. i will make sure that i will put forth my best effort so that companies like d2 will never sell products which are faulty and have no place in the aftermarket industry.

p.s. i will post the comments i sent them as he sent me in a bit thanks you for taking the time to look at my problem
