Well in my first post I stated I wasnt trying to start any drama, a simple yes or no would have been fine, but I guess that is asking to much. I know this forum is so used to drama its hard to determine if a question is for real or not. Kinda random question yes but I thought that would give you an idea that the question might have a purpose. Im in the process of building a car myself and some of the ideas, things they did, gave my chassis guy some idea's. I was going to call Brinks and tried to call NHRA Tech (Pat) but figured maybe someone here would know, guess not.

NHRA's is the only opinion that matters, contact them for ANY questions like that.

You also didnt really specify your question/concern.. What exactly is it your trying to do/not do?

you only mentioned the rear suspension

Im trying to figure out how we should mount the rear suspension. I have Penske rear shocks and a Kens Custom straight axel and my ride height is too high. I have added an L bracket to the axel but it still sits a little too high, so I was wondering what other mounting options I had. The car is an RSX if that make a difference.

We tried contacting NHRA but no replys as of yet.

Whatever the shock attaches to has to be bolted to the oem holes. You can run the shock up through the oem hole and build a piece that goes from the oem holes to the upper shock mount. Somewhat of a vertical extension of the shock tower, but it all has to bolt together. If that makes any sense.

Not that tony isnt wrong, but I would get the approval of NHRA and not tony1 or HT. Everytime I call NHRA I ask for Pat in tech and I get right through.
