Just curious if this would void the warranty. Will all mods like catback exhaust or coilovers also affect the warranty? Thanks.

Rubbish. Your warranty is only void if, in the event of an incident, that part that has been modified causes the problem. Else, you are covered.

Unless, in the USA, your on some kinda weird Acura thingie...

 

we have a winner, well alteast thats what i was told by my dealership anyways...the part has to cause the problem, but it also would be covered if you had the dealership install the parts for you...

 

some acura dealers actually sell and install mods which will not void your warranty.

 

yea hes right ... keep your stock air box parts ... and if you ever have a warrenty covered problem ... swap it back ... airintake install takes like 15 minutes ... (:

 

an ECU would void your warrenty real quick.

anythign that will make your car run harder than it should will void it.
the factory ECU chip makes the car run "less than its potential" to keep it from runnign to hard so it will last longer.

Acura and HOnda sell aftermarket performance parts, so does mazda, volkswagen.

and you could just have mods, and chane back to stop for check ups and such

 

 

 

no modification "voids" your warranty. The dealership may not cover damage to your vehicle if they can prove that your modifications or treatment of the vehicle caused it.

 

I heard nothing voids warranty except Like Valvetrain stuff,.cam gears,valves,.etc,...ACura will hold warranty on Comptech stuff though,..its like Toyotas TRD stuff!
Just take the **** off when something happens
