Default Turbo Accord problem!

Hey guys, i just guy my car running. Having some problems need some input. First of all this is what i got:

f22b1 (fully built) (rods, pistols. etc..)
fmax turbo t3/t4to4b
NX direct port (100shot)
full MSD
Hypertech fuel pump
RC 370cc
and all ur basic stuff
*note stock ECU*
*note honda accord 97*

anyways this is my problem. I can't get my car to rev pass 4200rpm! Yes, i check for vacuum leaks, timing is good. Car pulls great up the point of 4200 rpms then i bogs down and won't gooooo any wheres. thanks for your input.

does engine actually stop reving at 4200? like it hits a limiter...or does it just not have power beyond 4200?

Now you say you have turbo *AND* nitrous *AND* big injectors, and you use the stock OBD2 ECU? For some reason, it makes sense that it's not working right.

well, the NX is not on, my boost is at the lowest setting as possible. Also i seem to be unable to get a standalone for my car. I have to get the car running right first.

Post this is the Forced Induction forum.

Try larger injectors, I don't know if you said anything about a fuel pump, but that might be nice.

Make sure you're getting an accurate boost reading...

Mmm.... why a 100 shot anyways? Wouldn't a 25 or 35 shot suffice to get the turbo spooled?

I don't know how long that F22 built or not will last with those combined.

Oh well not my car.

i put the 100 shot jets, because that was the smallest jets the kit had when i got the kit, and also im only spraying from 2000-3200. i can't really run bigger than 370 cc injectors since i haven't been able to find a stand alone yet. also i have a hypertech fuel pump. also my boost setting is at one pound.

What kind of FMU are you using?

DSM injectors plug right into the F22, and the Accord already has the resistor box stock as well. So you can run any size injectors you want.

I have the one that came with my fmax kit. the mf2 but i heard from many people on this board say they don't like it for some reason. Im currently running with RC 370 injectors.

if the car hits a rev limiter at 4200, my guess is that VTEC is not engaging...which triggers a pre-mature rev limiter...i'm not sure where that would be in the general area that it would happen.

this would be something with the solenoid, wiring, or lack of oil pressure

Could your ECU be in limp mode?

Even in limp mode, you still should be able to rev past 4200...

not really on certain engines. Some engines wont rev past 3500 if the CEL is on.

The F22B1 should (mine did), but I don't know if having a different OBD systems would affect limp mode...

it might be effected by which code your ecu is throwing as well. If his car is seeing all that boost it may turn down the redline due to the fact it thinks it is going to blow up. Just a thought.

you do know that when you spray nitrous on a boosted car it doubles so if your running a 100 shot and spray it will equal a 200 shot...?

Check to make sure the fuel pump is working properly, when My aux fuel pump stopped working, I could not go past 5K at 8psi before the car would pop really bad and would not rev higher....

Did you by chance alter any of the wiring for the TPS and / or MAP sensors?

thanks for the replys everyone. This is the latest update. fuel pump is good. I don't know what u mean by a limp mode. And note that my car is a ODB2 auto so i don't know if i could swap to a p28, i don't think im able is use my auto tranny since in the OBDII car my tranny ecu is built in my ecu. also my car was running fine before i got my internals put it. right now im not boosting or spraying. im just trying to get the car running right.
