i need your opinion on fuel pump issue
OK. i have a ED6 with a d16y8 block and everything else OBD0. i believe that my fuel pump is going bad because every time im low on fuel my car tends to die after coming out of a load. after deaccelerating and coming to a stop. i searched a lot, and all i find is pump how too's and Q's about the fuel pump removal from noobs. things replaced
main relay
fuel filter
checked fuel preasure ( but when it was in a full tank) came out perfect
so im thinking is my fuel pump.
what do you guys thnink?
here is an old pic, just to drw more attention. NVM the spark plug wires. i rplaced then already

any help will be apreciated
EDIT: i also checked the fuel preasure with an almost empy tank, but its hard to diagnose because it only does it when its moving (came out ok)

</TD></TR></TABLE> My car used to starve really bad before. It was because my boot on the bottom of the fuel pump had came off and it couldn't reach the bottom of the tank. And you may have good pressure on idle but a weak pump wont handle the need of your engine during acceleration. I replaced my fuel pump with a walbro 255LPH for $99 which had everything you need and even had that boot to replace the one i fished outta the tank. You may still have that starving while accelerating though a corner on a low tank. My HPDE instructor sd that you want to maintain the speed and not punch it or you'll starve, upset the car, and spin. He called it "Leaving some on the table" or something like that. starving on a low tank is inevitable. To change the fuel pump is really easy. Unstrap the tank or at least lower it down. Disconnect the fuel lines and wiring, hook up new one and replace the new uber better fuel pump into the tank (hardest part). It has to go in at a certain angle.
