Where to get valve adjustment tool?
I need to adjust my valves really soon for an upcoming auto-x(next weekend). I don't have time on the weekdays because of school so the only time i have to adjust my valves is tomorrow(saturday). I went to sears and kragens but they didn't have the tools. I was wondering if any of you guys know where i might be able to purchase the tool. I know a place online but that won't arrive in time.
TIA,

Anyone else can help me with this?
I am located in the bay area, CA
Wonder if one of the guys out there can help you do so... or lend you their tool. You can borrow mine.. if you come to the east coast to get it.
Try Yoshi.. i know he has one.

The ticking is very audible hence the reason i need to adjust them. But i think acura will do it for you at the 30k services...but they charge an arm and a leg so it's better doing it yourself. I am not i am a mechanic or anything but i think the HELMs will be a great guide. Hope that helps.

Remember, you really don't need the tool. Did mine Sunday without it.
Or, you can bend a box end wrench (with a bit of heat). That might be the best tool as you can easily see what you are doing when you turn the screwdriver(?)

Thanks ajm_00si but reason i don't want to order online is because of the time constraint.

Hey Chaze,
Like I said you really don't need any 'special' tools. To adjust my valves I used a flat blade screwdriver, a set of angled feeler guages (Sears) and a 10 mm socket with an extension/ratchet. Thats it period.
The special tool or a wrench bent into a Z shape only make it easier and quicker, they don't make it any more accurate.
A kneeling pad when doing the exhausts and Bufferin when leaning over to do the intakes also helps too<LOL> As Nike says "Just do it"
