Attn: Max Rev manifold and 60-1 turbo
I know there was a post by someone running this combination a few months ago. It was showing how much cutting was involved to fit this turbo, and i believe a installed shot of the turbo and manifold, etc. I have searched numerous times, but i just cant find it...grr. I believe it was Dee(?). Please post some pics if you guys have them, or link me up to that thread. Mucho thanks.
I think it was TurboT, search under his name then search under Max-Rev, and look at the 25+ pages of posts if you want, it had the pictures there

Hey terry, Can you post more pictures of your old setup?
Boosted Hybrid
I'm running that setup right now...
With that max-rev log style manifold be ready to cut about 1 3/4 inches off the block and about 1 inch off the spyderwebing.. The way my turbo is sitting right now its still touching my block but just by a little bit, I'm also not able to run a pipe off of the turbo for a filter because the compressor inlet housing is so close to the clutch slave cylinder and line so I'm only running a coulple layers of fine screen...
I would post some pictures but my Internet connection is really slow right now so please be patient with me and I will post the pictures up here by the end of this week, I hope by than my connection is a 10 times faster...

Ok Guys,
Here is what I got for now, the first and second pictures are of the max rev manifold with the 60-1 when I first started out with no modifications to the block yet.
The third picture is with the 60-1 turned the other way around and as you can see there is not much room for anything with the way its mounted like that...
I will also post some pictures of the final product as soon as I load them up...

thanks for the pics...how close to the front beam does the manifold put the compressor when on the driver's side? Enough room to make the IC pipe coming from up top? I can't really tell from the picture
Its a T3 63 AR If you look really hard you can actually see .63 writen on the exhaust housing in the 1st picture..
If you guys are talking about the exhaust flange on the manifold being on center, Its not it is welded on more to the left of the manifold like in the picture on the bottom of this post...
If you clocked the compressor housing up with the turbo sitting the other way around you can make an intercooler pipe that would bend from the turbo through the stock winshield washer tank hole and down to the intercooler....
Also with the way I have that turbo sitting in there right now there is no way to put a filter on it...

i was asking if the turbine housing was a on-center housing, or tangental housing, but no one understood me correctly i guess
Look at this photo:
And then look at the other photos.

The way I got mine to fit better is I put two mr.gasket exhaust manifold gaskets between the head and the manifold but If you got something built like a flange or something like that to put inbetween you would need some extended studs.
But other than that It would fit....

That wasn't me because my setup didn't require any block grinding but I did have to trim the mount for the SPAL fan.
