I'm not sure what the brackets are for but if those bushings are polyurethane than I sugggest wrapping the sway bar with Teflon (PTFE) tape where the bushing will go around the bar.

The tape will do a much better job at preventing the squeeks and less messy than the white grease they supply you with.

not sure whether your '90 Si has a rear stabalizer bar, but use them to mount the bushings and sway bar.

The brackets are for mounting the bar onto subframe further back little prior to exhaust...if not the have it so that you can mount the bushing the other part of the subframe further forward....im not sure about on a civic...i put on same bar, but the older gunmetal one, just have to move the stock tow hooks...brackets and done...there was a link and on HT pictures and all but i think its gone now...gl

Yes the brackets are for mounting onto the subframe. You may want to consider welding them on, or at least putting some backing plates on the reverse inside the car for support. We had one driver set up the same way, I will ask him how they went about the install and welding.

It didn't come with instructions? Anyway, they don't mount to the subframe on EFs like they do on EG/EKs, the brackets mount to the frame rails and then the sway mounts to that. Like this:

well I installed them today. what a huge difference ! everything is so much tighter !
1 lil problem, on the front bushings, the bracket is too small, so its crunching the bushing. The mechanic said the bushing/bracket is too small for the bar.
It fits inside, but its crunching the bushing.

Oh hell, just take the front bar off. With that on the car, it would be an understeering pig anyway. Just leave your stock front bar in place and call it good.

I'm serious.

http://www.summitracing.com has that set. I've been looking at it since I have a dx and will need the mounting hardware to install a rear sway bar.
