My friend has Rota grid bronze color with Volk te37 sticker on it. I totally thought it was real volk te37 untill he told me it was rota grid
How can i tell if it rota grid or it te37 just by looking? P

 

the bronze is WAY different. The te's lug hole's (on 4 lugs) do NOT line up with either the spokes nor the valve stem. On the rota's they do. That's one easy difference. If they are real... you will know, the quality is about a million times better

so the color bronze is diffrent too?

yes... the lip of real ones almost looks anodized while the rest of the wheel looks like its cast in bronze. It is a lighter color than the grids. The grids are all the same color lip and all

Actually those grids I posted are sports bronze and they have the lip too but you can just tell by the wheel itself that its NOT the same quality. The color is darker as well

Of all people, I never thought I'd hear this man saying this. The same man who is already on his second set of Volks on his less-than-year-old Si.

I respect the fact that some people dont want the real deal. I however DONT think they are the SAME quality. I think the real deal is worth the extra cash. But lets not turn this into a rota/real deal debate. For ***** sake we all know that has been covered on this forum.

I agree. i totally respect people that are on the buget or see there money else where. but i dont understand the rota grid with the te37 sticker. if they are rotas they are rotas....

Rota Grids look ugly as expletive! imo

 

its also feels better knowing you got the real deal! I'm on the market for a set of TE37s also.
