Default H22 M2B4 Final Drive

Fully built h22 making 250 + whp with 100 shot of nitrous. Comes with a stock LSD. What FD would you recommend ?

Well considering that their are two options for aftermarket h22 FD sizes....your choices are pretty limited....

4.71 or 4.64

why does my tranny suck ? I know the h series trans arent geared as close a bseries but why does an m2b4 trans suck ?

thanks .....how high is that gonna rev on the highway with normal driving ? Also what final drive would you go with ive seen Mfactory talked about alot recently but this isnt something that I can just pull out real fast if i break something so I want quality.

I drive a 4.71 every day if that is any indicator

highway its at 4600-4800 rpm about 78-82mph

more like 4200-4500 for 65-75

not that bad on gas actually....

I should have rephrased that, your tranny doesnt suck ur gear ratios do.

yes, the OEM JDM LSD had a different bolt pattern for the ring gear, plus the case itself is wider.

yeah.m factory told me on my j1 that i could not use a factory lsd for the 4.9 final drive,looks ill be going aftermarket
