for a price of a EVO, you get an exhaust, wheels, suspension and a nifty mugen badge!

That'll be over by January.

I'm probably going to get the base four door next year. For 20 grand it seems to be about the best new car value for a Dad who wants something that's fun, reliable and will hold it's value fairly well.

Indeed but you don't expect the Rocket Scientists of HT to look at things like reliability, durability, economics and maintenance intervals do you?

All they know is that, "Dat EVO is mad fast y0 fer teh cheap! I can star pickin on dem vettes dat were messin wif me in my EG f0 r34l!"

I totally agree for the price for a Civic, that still isn't a Type R, i'd rather have an Evo/G35

Starts at 23k and tops out around 25. It also doesn't hold it's value as well as the Honda and IMHO won't be as reliable.

My 04 3 held it's value very, very well. Just depends on where you're at I guess.

I paid $700 to drive it for a year and a half.
