no, it goes up over the suspension. I don't have mine, yet, its coming Wed. though. Invidia one I mean, same as the S2.

The N1 goes over the rear axle as well if I'm not mistaken. Isn't it identical to another exhaust available?

yes, the n1 goes over the exhaust except in some civics where it goes under.
