Default Top mount, built GSR motor, in EK w/ 15x8 225-50-15 BFG (Way too many pictures)

1st off let me make it clear...I'm all rice

Here are some current pictures of my 96 HB. This has been an on going project for me for the past 5 year where it started as a boosted SOHC on AEM, than put in a built GSR motor with inline pro mani and sc61 turbo etc etc etc... Now the turbo part of the equation has been changed up
got the top mount made from a local shop here in Houston,
ITS T7X turbo,
3" piping,
tail bov,
HKS WG
4" dp,
75 mm TB,
CTR cams,
JE 9:1 81.5mm pistons,
eagle rods,
skunk2 cam gears and springs/retainers,
NO PORTING DONE TO HEAD,
GE sleeve
ed intake mani
AEM EMS
1600cc inj
MSD dizzy
Type R tranny w/LSD
still on single disc clutch
The car has yet to be dynoed with the bigger throttle body and the MSD dizzy.
So far the car made close to 580 whp @ 22 psi but the clutch started slipping on the dyno, so we called it a day. Waiting for funds to order my twin tilton hoping to hit the dyno with 30-32 psi and close to 650whp.
The front wheels are 15x8 0 offset, my tuner at CARBOY helped me make the fenders, I like the way it came out. it's still not done I have to make the front bumper come together with the fenders With these tires I took it on the freeway and at 20 psi off the line the car had little to no traction problem. BFG radials
Here you go...

Thanks for viewing.

nice car but half of the engine shots were taken in almost the same position.

that filter has got to be killing it as well.

Holy fender flares, Batman.

Looks sick!! I don't understand why you vented the valve cover the way you did, but whatever works. Put that front strut bar back in place too!

Those BFG's look SICK on 8" wheels! Here's a comparison pic of my 225 BFG's on 6.5" Grids:

Can you say BULGE?

Nice car

The filter has a mesh in the front so it can suck the air from the front and the sides, but either way when the car is on the dyno I'll make a pull with and w/o the filter to see if is choking the turbo.

Thanks guys

How can you call it crap after one guy you heard of having bad luck. I read his post about it too but like you said others may have better luck. Don't go calling it crap w/o your own experience though

Maybe I'm missing something but why anchor the shoulder straps to the rear seat mounting position? Why not use the horizontal bar in your roll cage? Or is the bar too low?

I just got the roll cage put in and the harness is old and I have had it for a while now. I have to order new 5 point harness anyways.

I couldn't fit anything there and I really didn't want to use just a mesh, So I took an old cone filter and cut half of the cone filter off and slid the filter over the whole turbo and clamped it. I figured that since there's a mesh in front of the filter it wouldn't have a hard time breathing, when I dyno the car I'll do a pull with and w/o filter to see if there's a diff.
