100% FREE and super clean rear wiper removal/shave trick for a DA, DC, EG, EK! Don't buy a plug u al
Don't buy one of those ripoff ebay kits or any other wiper removal kit. You already have the plug to do it!!
Step 1: Ok go out to whichever of these fine automobiles u drive (DA, DC, EG, EK). Open your hood. For a DA or EG look around behind your intake manifold, there will be a small rubber plug/grommet that is just sitting there. Look for one that has no wires running through it (obviously lol), and use your hand and carefully take it out. It will look like this:
On a DC or EK, the part is usually on the lower left side of the firewall, either way you should find it with ease.
Clean the plug with Armor All if you wish to. (optional)
Congratulations you didnt just get ripped off for $20 by some ebay ricer for this part.
Step 2: Ok, installation. This is the hardest part. On a DA or DC remove the top panel on your hatch. On an EG or EK, haha youre on your own cause i havent worked on either lol. On the EG the wiper is on the glass...find a way to it. On the EK, its on the rear panel. But i didn't need to tell you that, cause you know better than i do. Make sure to remove the entire wiper assembly and disconnect the wires, etc. Just use common sense as far as what pertains to the wiper assembly, it is not too difficult.
Step 3: Almost done! Insert the plug into the hole as shown:

The part SHOULD pop in no problem. If there are any issues with fitment your car sucks and you should keep your wiper so u can wipe off rain n stuff. Otherwise, if it fits well, you can use some silicone weatherstrip sealant to make sure no rain or water from the carwash or stuff doesnt get in (i highly reccomend doing this).
Step 4: Put all the panels back on the way you took them off. On a DA/DC this is not difficult. On an EG/EK i cant help you sorry, ask an EG/EK guy. If you aren't satisfied with the way it looks too bad cause it looks hella clean.
Also, if you find that your car doesnt have one of these in it or you have already removed it or if someone like ran a cable through it or something like that u can
1) PM me cause i have 2 spare plugs ($10 each shipped?) or
2) Go to a junk yard and pull one off an DA, DC, EG, EK
3) Go to a junk yard and pull every plug u can off each car and sell them on ebay for $30 shipped each y0, after which you should stab yourself
Good luck and enjoy! PM me with any questions

Have you ever wondered what the plug's purpose was in the engine bay area?
I don't have my car here to look at it today (raining - I'm in the beater) but I'd imagine you may get some fumes from the engine bay now that you have a hole in the firewall.
You did pull this plug from the firewall, right?

You don't need that wiper on an Integra anywhere! The window works just like any other rear window in any weather conditions. I know this because Rochester, NY is a snow and winter death zone.

it doesnt work on EGs. the plug doesnt secure the trunk latch in place. you need something behind it to screw it on... i still have one of those plugs i bought too with a broken rear wiper
I used one of those plugs before and it seemed to allow water to leak in from around it
I just went on ebay and searched "integra wiper plug" and came across this one...

bottom piece screws to the top one through the glass...No more leaks!
