its probably rubbing on something in the inner fender well that can be easily cut or bent out of the way. I'm running 205/50/15 rotas (7" wide) on my 93 hatch and i had to bend a little tab up and out of the way in the back. Jack your car up and take a look.

It would have to be in the wheel offset. 205/50-15's usually don't rub at all. Mine did not rub when I had my slips, but the last hatch I built with slips did rub on the outside fender, same size tire, different offsets between the sets. His rubbing was minor.

I had this problem also. I just got stiffer struts so the fender didn't go down on the rim anymore.

I have GSR blades with 205/15s on my crx which is also lowered on H&R sport (1.75) springs. No rubbing at all... Must be the offset.

Heres my rubbing experience:

My 15x6.5 +40 slips rubbed with 205/50/15 azenis. I also had DA rear brakes which apparently shimmed the rear of the car out a couple mm. What i did to solve the problem was just sell the wheels.

I also purchased a different set of wheels that rubbed, at this point i have had it with the rubbing issue so i broke down and bought a fender rolling tool. Shamesless plug: I will rent the fender rolling tool to anyone for 75$ a week plus deposit. PM me if you are interested.

EF's with meaty tires need a high offsets to clear the rears!

i suggest you roll your fenders, it looks like they are rubbing on the fenders... do it your self and just bend them up

I think the problem is definetly in your suspension. It must sag a lot when you are moving, causing your fenders to come down on your tires.

Mine look just like the picture you posted but I dont have the rubbing problem. You need better suspension.

Wrong offset

And roll the fender, AND maybe add some camber back there.

6.5" circuit 8's +38 offset, azenis--> rubbed with anything less than 2 deg of
camber f&r
7" rpf1 +41 offset, azenis--> no rubbing with 1 deg camber rear

Rear camber and offset play a big role. Also remember that azenis are wider than most 205's.

My setup is pretty much like the op's. The only difference being the wheel type and shock type (and maybe camber - I don't have a camber kit). My shocks and springs are about 18 months old.

Looks like an offset problem. With my Spun Supermesh and 205/50/15 Kumho AST's I only had rubbing problems on the passenger's side rear quarter due to rust replacement sometime in its life and the bodyshop guy not welding the quarter out far enough.

Also, I'm running H&R sports + Tokico 5 way illumina's without rubbing issues on the other 3 corners...just the one that was once replaced (need to get it rolled out).
