Ummm. Good sunny January morning in Cali. Antics on a freeway interchange, and bam, vteg meets mister guard rail. The guard rail won.

Truth is, I one of my rear tires is pretty worn and the other is almost new because of a tire that got a bubble and I replaced. Shortly after rotating my tires and moving the one good and worn tire to the back,I had this accident. I came around an empty freeway interchange with a large left hand sweep, and the back end slipped out at about 45-50. I over corrected and panic braked(I think) The car went into a second spin in the opposite direction, which I could not stop and hit the outside rail backwards.

Luckily my insurance did not go up. Even though they probably think I am an idiot.

 

I don't mind. I don't think they knew that it should not be painted. It is a beautiful paint job though. Better than my factory paint You are the first to notice. I prefer the pics with my minolta, the kodak pictures look a little strange for some reason.

 

Nice! Now I wish I would have gotten the OEM kit.

Purple?

 

Congrats man, $20k is a HUGE payout!!!!

I love SSB...I wasnt kidding about the trade man, I've thought of starting over with a 98-99 SSB GSR many times...I love the color that much

 

yes my teg is "purple"..blurple.. i dont think honda would call it super sonic purple pearl(too feminine sounding).. but i think it's more purple than blue.. especially when compared to the electron blue Si..

 

yeah, especially in the dark...it can look purple...

comptechgsr-you beat me too it. I was going to ask if someone had the SSB with gunmetal ITR or flat black ITR wheels. Here is the 95% sure setup. 00cx HB with Supersonic Blue. I am still debating on keeping the ITR wheels in gunmetal or go flat black. Thanks everyone for your pics.

MY CAR IS NOT BLURPLE!

When I think of purple I think of the 92-93 civics that were light purple. This color has ruined me for other color cars. I will have to resort to custom paint jobs to get the number of looks and comments that this color does. Or maybe a championship yellow mica 3rd gen rx-7.

Stupid question: They only made supersonic blue pearl for '98 Integras?

 

98 & 99. If I remember correctly only 400ish were made each year.
