i was just wandering what you guy's with SOHC turbo's are running in the quarter. My best so far is 14.8 @ 89 mph w/ 6psi. i had nitto drags, but i think i had too little air in them. I was running 15 psi, what should i run in them?

Best times will always be in hatches but Im preety sure vtc civic has run low 14's.

 

im sure a crx could muster good times as well.

14.63 @ 95 on 6psi with a 2.37 60' time
14.16 @ 100.3 on 12psi with a 2.4 60' time

Shave the 60's down to a decent 2.1 and I should pull a 14.3 and 13.7 respectivley (stock D16Y8, 98 EX coupe w/ full interior and exahust)

 

you people are all slow there is a guy in TX with a supercharged SOHC and he runs 11flat! hahahah! his company is Endyne.

 

True, Endyn is an exception...I think they run 18psi street and 22psi race on their superchargers, correct? Though, to nit pick...the post was asking for TURBO times Is their kit available? It seems like they've been sitting on it forever...

Sum guy in SD has SOHC turbo Si and runs 12.2 He has pistons, rods, blockguard

 

Times vary greatly- the following cars all run the greddy kit with a small intercooler, no cat, and 2 1/4" exhaust.

'95 EX coupe, full interior, stock tires = 13.9 @ 98 mph on 8 psi (My old car)

'94 CX hatch, full interior, stock tires = 14.5 @ 95 mph on 6 psi and a slipping clutch. (friends car)

'94 CX hatch, full interior, stock tires = 13.5 @ 101.5 mph on 8 psi (my brothers car)

'92 VX hatch, gutted, stock tires = 13.6 @ 100.2 mph on 5 psi (my car)

Same '92 VX above, but with open downpipe,stock timing, and 100 octane fuel on 5 psi = 13.3 @ 104.8 mph

 

I remember seeing a D16A CRX with boost + 100 shot doing low 10's.

I've heard that Endyn's fake...what the hells the deal with that? There's some legit and very technical info on the site...I also remember someone talking about their ported head from endyn, back in the day on Purehonda.com...anyone have some proof that he doesn't exist?

Sean Devine from Toronto Canada runs consistent 10.2's@143mph in his EG Hatch.Apparantly one of the fastest SOHC's in the world and definatly the fastest in Canada.He's pushing 630whp,motor is fully fully built,not too sure on specs but it's pretty damn impressive
