Default My H22A dyno graph after long inactive period.

Hi guys:

I haven't been on the honda-tech forum or much of the internet for a while and was somewhat retired from doing anything to my H22A powered 1993 Honda Accord. I got curious a few days ago and decided to hit the dyno and see what numbers we could get. The engine setup is as follows:

Stock Euro R H22A Engine Swap (includes T/B, I/M and flywheel)
SMSP Header
AEM FPR/Fuel Rail
RC 550cc injectors
JUN cams, valvesprings, retainers and cam gears
2.5" inch restrictive exhaust
3" cold air intake
Hondata S300
Hondata I/M gasket
ACT Pressure plate/ factory honda disc that came with the swap

219.32WHP/154.68ft-lbs
The max ft-lbs torque was not included in the HP graph. That information is in another chart i have here.

Here are the graphs:

The air/fuel sensor at the dyno was not working properly and thus you will notice in some spots it has a 14.0 AF, but in reality full throttle areas were tuned to 12.7-13.0 using an FJO Wideband Unit. This was the A/F that the engine liked the most.

We will be installing an SMSP 2.5" exhaust and a JUN Ultralight flywheel some time next week and will be heading back over to the dyno. I am very pleased with the results and the engine pulls strong and is very fun to drive. We noticed some electrical glitches the day at the dyno and didn't pay much attention until today i noticed the postive wire that feeds the main fuse box was connected to a hairline piece of wire along with the main ground wire on the battery. They didn't both fall off miraculously.

I will post the new dyno data once we get over to the dyno hopefully next week.

Let me know what you guys think.

The swap was purchased through Steve at hmotorsonline.com

I bought my Type-s from him, i never saw the Euro-R online unless you asked him and he got it personally. Either way, good numbers!

When i spoke to him he had just recieved around 7 Euro R complete swaps. This was around 2 years ago. I called at the right time and got the best of the batch.

We are going to do a tad more tuning once the exhaust is installed and i am looking for a few more WHP/torque.

It will be nice to see a crush bent 2.5 exhaust vs a mandrel bent 2.5 exhaust test.

JUN + SMSP always seems to produce nice results for the H

What were you revving the engine to?

jeje. cool. Thanks. I have always loved the H22 platform. I would never change it for any other type of honda engine.

Nice engine but I definitely think you can squeeze out some more power, 225-230ish whp depending on the dyno.

Yes indeed. As i said, we are going back once that new exhaust is in and do some fine tuning to the hondata calibration.

what ecu are you running with the s300?

And does the euro r manifold have iab's?
what compression is the euro r 10.5 or 11?

Do you have a cat?

Good numbers. Dyno widebands always tend to read a bit leaner... since they are at the very end of the exhaust. I've seen a difference of .5-.7 on one of the mustang dyno's I use. The dynojet I use is about a .3-.4 difference compared to datalog's that I have with my PLX unit.
