Default Do you need washers for your Prelude LMA's?

As many of you know I used to supply the correct washers to run the Prelude LMA's in the B-Series head. After sending out 20-25 sets or so to other members at little to no charge it started becoming more and more difficult to weed through the inconsistencies of the washers to get the right thickness' so I could keep supplying you guys with these since a lot of you seem to have such a hard time finding them.

I stopped doing this a few months back (maybe longer) simply because it got to be too much of a hassle to order 1-200 washers, mic all of them, and end up with maybe 8-10 sets. I have still been getting quite a few PM's from members asking if I still have the washers and I really hate it when I have to tell them that I can't help them.

I am not a vendor and this is not a for sale post but I am curious how man people out there would want to take advantage of the oportunity if I can get my hand on more of these washers for you guys to use as shims for the Prelude (H-Series) LMA's? I used to do this for free (I accepted donations but did not ask for them) taking the postage and price of the washers out my own pocket but since it will be much more time consuming and slightly more costly to provide these to the H-T community I would have no choice but to ask for compensation to continue this service. Just to cover the postage and price of a set of washers, nothing more.

Anyway, it's all up in the air right now. I would just like ot see how many people would benefit from this before I go ordering a ton of washers.

As you can tell I don't come on here much anymore but I still enjoy checking the site a few times a week and the PM's I keep getting about this made me feel compelled to make this thread.

More Info: The stainless steel washers from Home Depot. they are #10 and are in a bag hanging on a hook in the hardware section. Its less than $1 for about 15.

.040" thick, .56" diameter. Home depot FTW!

They really aren't hard to find as others have said, Lowe's and Home depot have them. I think people are just lazy and/or they don't know how to use a set of calipers.

To you for this service though.

I was wrong about the $10 cut washers. The ones I used are slightly bigger in diameter. They were ther 1/4" stainless .040" from Ace hardware.
