Default Venom Intake Manifold

Ok Honda-tech listen up, I need some advice. While piecing together a B20vtec swap I was looking to buy a 68mm tb & a friend of mine offered to sell me his 70mm tb along with his VENOM intake manifold. I searched through the archives & found nothing but people with close to stock setups asking how the manifold would perform in close to stock setups. My setup is nowhere near stock. I understand that the runners on the VENOM mani’s are a little long & are better suited for turbo setups.

A brief rundown of my setup:
OEM headgasket
OEM valves
B20 block
GSR head
84mm 12.5cp
Ported/polished head
Skunk2 Stg3 camshafts
Side exit header

What I wanna know is if the VENOM mani is good for my setup & wont choke out my motor…

Default Re: (4CN Air)

on a basic set up the Vemon manifold will hurt your build - it needs way more air then the engine will give. a skunk / itr / blox or anything like that would much better suit you - if you have a 68..70 mm tb just match port the manifold to match -

i think you said that your setup wasn't stock right well on my friends built20 he uses the manifold portmatched to his head and with a 72mm TB the manifold with good tunning enabled him to make continuous power 233hp. 150tq......yes the manfolds runners are long and it's mostly used on turbo setups but that's a good amount of power from a N/A setup
