Default FS: 2004 Honda CBR1000RR

windscreen isn't installed in this photo

2nd owner, bought it from a local guy.

Has 5xxx miles, clean title.

-down a tooth in the front
-Custom Dynamics integrated tails
-Gregg's flush mounts
-red upper with either a OEM red lower (2005 models) or a OEM titanium lower (2004 models)
-Honda lubes

$8,000obo

Bike was lowsided and had a bent wheel and rashed fairings. I replaced all the parts with brand new OEM parts, and have been riding the bike around. The gauge cluster has a small crack through the display.

For an additional cost I have:
-a full Akrapovic Ti system with carbon can
-Sharkskins race bodywork
-Dan Kyle mount and Ohlins damper
-PCIII USB

Good luck with the sale , shouldn't be too hard to find a buyer for it.

What are you going with next?

i'd rather ride a 600

thought you liked wheelies? just curious but was it really necessary to drop the tooth down in the front? I guess for track it makes 6th effective but sheesh I'm sure around town with the power it has and you found out that it's front end happy

6th gear is still pretty good on the 1000rr, i think top gear 60-80 roll is like 2.5-3 seconds or so. so the tooth is definately a little excessive.

but the tooth might explain your wheelie troubles ngng

I'm not trying to bag on anything...but...

You want 8k, for something that was lowsided, its only an 04, AND it has 5k miles...and its coming up on cold season.

Sorry, your asking too much.

Just my opinion. Good luck with the sale.

I think it's a lil high since I can get brand new 06's for 9xxx or so. been awhile since I looked but the extras it comes with are great. plus it's always best to price it a little higher so you can negotiate with someone who offers like 7000 or so. If he asked 7000 people would offer 6000 and he'd never get his list price... good luck with the sale btw

I don't think that price is all that bad. I paid 7k for my bike and it looks like the same exact thing. It wasn't layed down or ever dropped but still. Mine had 4,800 when I bought it. I felt I got a really good deal..
