Default RLZ Stage III Camshafts...

I searched, and didn't come up with anything... So if this has been covered, I'm sorry.

Anyway, I've come across this deal that I can't pass up... RLZ Stage III Camshafts for an incredibly cheap price. But my question is, are these too aggressive for stock bottom end on my USDM ITR?

I've been researching running lopey cams on stock bottom end, and it seems like it's a controversial topic.

Any help is appreciated. Also, if anyone can enlighten me about what RLZ does to these cams to set them apart from everyone elses (Distinctive markings for identification. i.e TODA Bs have a B), that'd be great... I need to make sure these are, what the guy says they are. He thought they were Skunk2 Pro-IIs a few days ago.

like brad(max_cfm),big teggie,bradstard... told me these cam are high lift short duration camshafts...It's true that we don't have a lot of info about these cams here on h-t...But every setup that runned these cams made great power...

Mind you, I'm on stock USDM ITR bottom end... So will that kind of negate the purpose of these high lift cams?

High lift/short duration? If I had an ITR motor I would try to find a shorter lift, longer duration....but thats just my personal opinion. Bradstard's car flat HAULS ***

I would contact Brad @ RLZ. His stg.3 's require spl. springs and LMA's. Check the cam or valve lift should be .550 IN.

I have no idea how to check anything on cams... I'm really quite ignorant to specifics of things like this.

Is there any SIMPLE way that I can tell they're RLZ or not? Knowing my luck, I'd buy them through good faith, and they'd turn out to be stock ITR.

So, pink dyken and RLZ with a scribe is how you determine if theyre genuine or not?

Hmmm... *Grabs spare ITR cams, paints ends pink, scrapes "RLZ #3" into metal*

... Soooooo... Who wants some RLZ Stage III Cams?

Haha, I guess that's all I have to go by? I guess I'll give RLZ a call and talk with them to see if they can make any recommendations.

Thanks for the help guys, it's greatly appreciated.

Does any have RLZ's number. Their website is down.

Yea, pretty much. You could measure them if you want, but would need to know the specs.

I got them straight from Brad and I know they are not fake. Im sure they know who they have sold cams too. I dont think there are as many floating around like Skunk2, BC, JUN, etc...

If the deal is too goo to be true, it prolly is.

I don't know how the guy mistook them for Skunk2 Pro-IIs... Those markings are pretty Damn distinctive. I'm going about it VERY cautiously, I appreciate the help guys!

As a fall back, how much are you trying to get for your RLZ Stage IIIs Big Teggie?
