Spray Painted + Missing Engine = Lightweight and cheap Paint...
My Sob Story:
Bought, 97 Acura Integra Type R #362
Mods:
Custom 4-1 Header
Trust Exhaust System
AEM SRI
Comptech ECU
Koni Full-Coilovers
It had a black rear bumper
and a cracked front lip, but that was about it as far as problems.
my insurance company (Farmers) who has been charging me $320/month, thinks i pulled insurance fraud. so i have been under investigation, i have to provide tons of information, recorded statements under oath, etc. so... 6 MONTHS AGO, car was stolen. i have yet to be paid out for my car, and they havn't given me any answer as of yet to if they are going to 'convict' me of insurance fraud, or just pay me out like they are supposed to. so i have been making a $320/month payment for insurance for the past 6 months, and $300/month for the car payment. basically 600/month for a car i dont even have.
here are a couple 'before pictures'
it was stolen in april and found after about a month, missing rear seats, valve cover, spoiler, misc engine parts, and little parts here and there. i drove it for ONE week, went to arden mall to exchange some shoes with a couple friends and my girlfriend. My friend and his g/f leave before us and calls me: "hey you left already?" me-"no, why" him-"your car is gone" me-"stop bullshitting me" him-"no serious its not there" me-"f&^$, ok i'll be out there" go out there, car is gone. like 3 months later, car is recovered AGAIN...
here she is now...
missing everything except doors. engine, tranny, suspension, rims, trunk, door panels, whole interior, etc.
after seeing the car at the towing yard, Farmers Insurance, lets me know that i have to pay for the storage fees, towing fees, and now i need to tow and store it so i dont get charged $40/day for their storage fee. and they will not be helping/paying me for this
i am in debt, im short on bills every month, i have a hard time getting to and from work because of the car issue...etc, etc, etc.
moral of the story, DONT USE FARMERS INSURANCE....
i have never loved and hated something so much at the same time.

yeah i know they gave my friend only 1900 for a clean as hell eg. my insurance agent said he would give me 3000 due to a new paint job and and i bunch of parts. the car was totaled

sorry to hear about your car...whenever I have to go to arden mall or any mall around here is sac, I try to make my gf go with me so we can take her car instead of mine. **** the security there are wackass

sorry about your crap insurance and your car being stolen but why would you bring a itr to the mall? you are just asking for it then.

Sorry but its the truth, I personally love the cars, but I WOULD NOT have one because of the high theft rate...4 have been stolen locally to me in the last 6 months

but, yeah i can't rebuild even if i wanted to (which i dont) and they covered the car with like oil its all greasy, so im guessing maybe they had planned on lighting it on fire or something, but didn't do it. plus itll cover up the fingerprints is what the tow guy said. they wrote like bacon and stuff on the car, im not even a cop or anything, so i dont get that part.
i got a lawyer, but this whole process = teh sux

Wow, what a ****** up story. That insurance company is ****** up as well How the hell were they charging you monthly insurance if the car was reported stolen

no enemies that i know of, haha. im pretty friendly, so i dont' know.

answer: NO NO, and NO. farmers has a strict policy of buying back cars after they are totalled, to help prevent insurance fraud. Plus, if they offered me to buy it back, i probably wouldn't anyways, because it will just look bad on me AGAIN. if they think i stole it, and then i buy it back and re-build it, it may look a little suspicious. plus, there is so much wrong with the car now that it has been recovered, its not really worth it
