If your brake lights break you can't pass inspection.

 

go to a junk yard and geto ne. when i put on my type r wing, thats what i am doing

 

just a question for all of you that have put in the LS light, do you guys actually drill holes in you rear glass?

 

what about those humungus holes left over from the wiring and screws?? what do u guys normally do about them?

 

I shaved my wing and asked my friend who works for a glass company to hook me up with one and it was stll..$600...I just found out yesterday. I need to find one in a junk yard.

 

you could either buy some plug tab things from a hardware store and then color match them, or have a body shop fill them in.

 

have them filled and welded by a body shop. i still need to get that done....(thinking about humungous holes on my trunk hatch.)

 

inspection? i shaved the wing off of my 99 gsr 2 years ago and never had a problem, is the car inspection a regional thing?

 

i don't have a GSR. i have a 3-piece wing and it has an led light on it. i want to take the LS brake light in the window out but i will still have those two screws there. should i take the light out or leave it in?

 

Just take the bulb out so it doesn't light up.

As for the holes in a GS-R, I bought about 23634523 different sizes of plugs from Lowe's a couple weeks ago and the only one I could get to fit properly was a 7/8" plug for the large hole on the right side. All the others were either too large or too small for the other holes, so I took them all back and put the wing back on.
